How about trying a bath? I gave my sick fish baths of either salt or
formaldhyde. It was cheap. One of my fish had a gill problem, though, that
nothing would cure. I was ready to do swabs and have my hospital lab friend
culture them and look under the microscope. It was a blue acara that
breathed rapidly all the time. Nothing would cure it. I forgot about it in
the bath, and it jumped out, and later died. So, if you do a bath, make sure
you take them out at the right time. I can give you more bath info if you
are interested.
