I didn't add salt or anything, until after the crawdad was killed by it's tank mate....only then Last night after cleaning did I add the Cichlid Vital....nothing else other than declorinator. Not sure where you had gotten the idea I had added salt. Trish PS the one remaining is doing fine, hiding out in a cave. I put a small amount of carrot in, so will know when he has come out to eat it. --- Susan Welenofsky <welenofsky@comcast.net> wrote: > Neither are the Seachem African cichlid salts and > buffer, not much, or > little sodium chloride, but stuff like Epsom salts. > I got some straight > plain iodine used for saltwater tanks after that. > Use half of what is > recommended for saltwater. > > Susan > > -----Original Message----- > From: gsas-member-bounces@thekrib.com > [mailto:gsas-member-bounces@thekrib.com] On Behalf > Of Trish > Sent: Friday, October 01, 2004 8:54 PM > To: Greater Seattle Aquarium Society member chat > Subject: RE: [GSAS-Member] up-date : crawdad died > > This isn't salt.
