Re: [GSAS-Member] shubunkin rescue - success!



If you want to come over and take your pick, there are quite a few that
will probably work out well. I really don't want to hold them till the
next meeting since they are being housed in 5 gallon buckets (weak
grin)....doing daily water changes.

Clay - there are two nice biggish shubunkins I've got in their own bucket.
These are probably purebred...from the initial purchase. There are also
some 'apparent' shubunkins in the medium-sized fish bucket. I'll hold
those for you but the sooner they go, the better.

My neighbor will be picking up anything that hasn't found a home on Friday
so we need to figure out how this is going to play out before then.

I'm keeping all the baby shubunkins....but some of those may be comets
that I don't want. Wish I knew more about the color development. Any other
good way to separate shubunkins from comets other than color patterning???
Of course some of these are probably 'mixes'....still pretty. I'm not a
goldfish 'breed' expert by any means.
