3,000 is no chump change. We need to know what the liabilities are as a function of number of attendess. Is 3,000 with current number paid? If you guys think there is ANY risk of not breaking even, then we need to see a table of liability vs number of attndees. If it seems that we are unlikely to attain the required number over the next several weeks, then it would be worth (a) increasing our web advertising, and we should also consider (b) providing a discount or offering a special prize (what I dont know) to be give to or potentially won by an attendee. I must rather break even or loose a few hundred, then thousands. I dont like the idea of canceling an event, but I ALSO dont like idea of loosing bucks.
