Hi, Steph Looks like your fish are about ready to spawn. Mine acted the same way just prior to laying eggs. My water was around 5.5 pH and close to 0 total hardness (collected rain water). Is the displaying male something to see, or what?! The only problem I encountered was the male being bullied after his part was done. Once he was removed, mother took care of the young with no problems.
