Hello John

Typical time from spawning to free swimming fry is about 7 days.   The
eggs hatch in about 48 hours, then are wigglers for a few days then up
are up and bouncing around.   It isnt until about the 7th day that i
have noticed that fry will actually start to feed on bbs or microworms.
When your fry have absorbed their yolk sac and are a brownish color and
move, are they really able to eat foods.   I dont feed until their yolk
sacs absorbed for fear of just polluting the water.
