Happens all the time in the U.S. In Europe they have testing and approval for herb/natural medicines. In the US they don't. The studied Saint John's Wort in Europe and it was proved to be effective mild depression. Then later all the brands currently on US pharm/health food store shelves were tested and there were NO ACTIVE ingredients. ie...either the ingredient was too old, or in too small of a dosage to be effective. Now a drug company is coming out with one tested to add to the shelves. ....now back to fish.
