All I can add is that the species is not even a cichlid, but belongs to the family Badidae. They are more closely related to nanids (leaf fish) than cichlids. Neat fish. Even if they have no place on this mailing list, I highly recommend them to anyone who likes dwarf cichlids. Mike Wise "David A.
