John, My feeling is that the English edition of Römer's book is being put on hold until they have enough pre purchased copies to warrant printing the book. I think that they don't want to be sitting on a large number of unsold books. I believe this is what happened to Tetra with Linke & Staeck's book. They printed too many and it took too long to sell them. I get the feeling that most German publishers now are shying away from publishing their specialized books in "English only" editions because they can't sell enough copies to justify the expense of translating and printing them. Translating a book can cost the publisher more than what they pay the author for the original manuscript. Mike Wise "John N.
