I was wondering if to effectively raise these guys I would have to dedicate a tank only to them, they don't seem like a very competative apisto. Even when they were alone though, before I combined them they were growing very slow. We feed bbs, flake, and daphnia. They also sell relatively cheap at the fish stores, usually $6, versus $15 on all the other apisto's. So the stores don't give us that much for them. I like selling to the stores to for a reasonable price, to get them out to the hobbyist.
