If they are for "personal use", they (Agriculture Canada) usually only wants to know how many you have, not what they are. However, it would help if the species were also known as there are a few "resticted fishes" on the list...none of which come from Cuba however! It also may be of some help, if there are any snags, to have some kind of paperwork, an export permit from Cuba or even a sales slip from a wholesaler or store. But, it is very rare they would ask for such documentation. I have brought fishes into Canada from both Peru (twice) and Brazil with absolutely no problems. If it is a commercial shipment, then that is a different story, one with which I have no experience. Hope this helps.
