I have bees shipped to me every year by the United States Postal Service. My home telephone number is on the outside and the Post Office always calls early in the morning and says, "Come get your bees, please." They don't have a problem bringing them out to the house, I just like to get them before they ride around in a hot vehicle all day. The box can get damaged, but they can see the bees (the packages are shoe box size open wooden frame boxes enclosed only by window screen type material) and are usually very careful : ) Daniel Harnden ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the apistogramma mailing list, apisto@majordomo.pobox.com.
